ABOUT US

Swale Basketball Club is a non-profit organisation providing the opportunity for girls and boys in the Sittingbourne , Faversham , Isle of Sheppey and surrounding areas to play basketball.

We welcome and encourage all abilities and ages to participate in the exciting game of basketball whether you are a new or an experienced player. Our basketball programme is run by trained and enthusiastic coaches, who have a passion for making the sport of basketball accessible to everyone in and around the Swale area.  Whilst making the sessions enjoyable our coaches will teach players the technical and tactical aspects of the game including passing , shooting , dribbling , communication , offensive play , defensive play and being part of a team .

The club hold basketball sessions , have fun days and has a friendly family atmosphere.

We run co-ed basketball sessions for boys and girls at all age groups - Under 10's, Under 12's , Under 14's and Under 16's .

To register your interest with the Club please complete the contact form on this website or e-mail  info@swalebasketball.co.uk and players will be put on our waiting list or subject to there being available space at the club , new players are invited to come along for a free, no commitment ‘taster’ session ( for players who has not visited the club before ) where further information will be provided, including guidance on how to join the Term basketball sessions .

Volunteers are always welcome at the club .
